Tree Quests and Outcomes – a fascinating virtual talk about the Monkey Puzzle tree – 11th May (7pm-8pm)

There is still time to book onto our talk about monkey puzzle trees! Come along and find out about this fascinating subject.
A talk by David Gedye in which he tells how a story about a monkey puzzle tree, told to him when a child, led to a lifelong quest that ultimately resulted in him rewriting the story of the Monkey Puzzle tree’s introduction into Europe. A long term volunteer with the Woodland Trust, David rounds his talk off with how the quest to find a suitable Millennium project for the village where he lives resulted in creating a wood that celebrates the 0° degree meridian line.
If you would like to book onto this talk please email amandabrookes@woodlandtrust.org.uk and we’ll send you a Zoom link.
