Save the date… something big is coming!

27th April 2022

Save the date! The National Volunteers Conference is back by popular demand on the 27th April 2022

For the first time in our history we are taking this popular event online and creating a one of a kind ‘virtual’ area exclusive to Woodland Trust volunteers. This aligns with our aspirations to be as inclusive and environmentally friendly as possible. This will mean no long drives, overnight stays and expenses to claim afterwards and you can fit your Conference experience around the rest of your life commitments.

Our hosts and Partners StreamPark have just created an interactive and virtual Conference space for Oxfam and are working with leading organisations in our sector to produce exciting and informative online information hubs and spaces. It’s a fantastic collaboration between Stream Park, our Country and Regional VDO’s, Network Managers and the National Volunteering Team who are all busy creating content for you to enjoy.

Rest assured, the Conference will not involve hours sitting in front of a screen listening to others speak. It will be made up of a number of elements that you can visit at any time of the day including:

A chance to see our most beautiful sites from the air through never before seen drone footage.

A live Q&A with the Woodland Trust Management Team and a chance to ask CEO Darren Moorcroft and his senior staff your burning questions about anything Woodland Trust, Conservation or Tree related.

Updates from all our volunteering led projects from Observatree through to the Ancient Tree Inventory.

Interactive sessions where you can learn more about the Trust and test your knowledge

There will be options to network with regionally based seasonal staff and learn about everything from Tree Pests and Diseases to our Scottish Rainforest. An a unique opportunity to know more about the wood in the South West of England which really did give birth to the idea of The Woodland Trust.

We really hope that you can join us.

More details will follow by email – if you have recently changed your email address let us at volunteering@woodlandtrust.org.uk
