Good luck, Grace!

It is with sadness that we bid another member of the South East team ‘adieu’ this month, as Grace Davis, Engagement and Communications Officer for the region, embraces a new role within the Trust. After over four years it is exciting to hear that Grace is moving on to pastures new as Assistant Site Manager for Hertfordshire and Essex.

Many of our volunteers will know Grace from her role in organizing events, from fundraising to volunteering, as well as setting up interpretation for many of the sites and plenty of other tasks besides, and we know that she will be excellent as she steps into her new opportunity.

She says : “Huge thanks to all of our volunteers who’ve helped with our events over the years. You’ve been a wonderful bunch to work with and always really helpful to me in my role. I am looking forward to spending more time in our woods, helping to manage them for nature and visitors, and learning more about the work of the Trust in a practical way.”

While we’re sad to lose her from the South East team, we are sure you will agree that our loss is the Central region’s gain! Keep in touch, Grace, and… good luck!
