Welcome to our new North Volunteers
We would like to offer a very warm welcome to all of our new North England volunteers who have joined us over the last month or so. It has been a really busy time, with over 40 new volunteers joining our North England team. We are delighted to welcome you all and thank you for your offering your time and support for our cause.
We are pleased to welcome new volunteer wardens to our Clarence Wood site in the NE and at Lady Mabel’s wood, near Wigan.
Hello also to new volunteers on our Smithills estate, joining us supporting our practical and wildlife monitoring activity.
We are very excited to have several people join us as part of our recruitment for our practical group across our Runcorn sites, and also for our our North East sites practical group, which has recently extended to include the Durham and Tees area
We also welcome new practical volunteers to our Millfields Wood practical group in Easingwold, our Friends of Gorse Covert Mounds group, Frodsham Sites group and Spud Wood groups in Cheshire and our Nidd Gorge practical group near Knaresborough
A very big welcome to you all and we very much hope you enjoy your new role and being part of our wider volunteering team across the north England region.
