RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park
It’s great being back doing events and our first one for the year started off with the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park. This was our first time at this show, and it was a hot one with temperatures hitting 32 degrees, 4 days in a row (including set-up which was a very hot and sweaty day). The show is set within the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park and runs over 5 days with the first one being members day, where we found a lot of RHS members were also our members too.
We’d made our stand as Covid secure as possible with bags prepacked, free biodegradable pens to fill in data cards and everything put out with gloves. I had a few people thank us for thinking of their safety.
I just want to say a huge thank you to all our staff and volunteers who made the week such a success . It was great to actually see colleagues again in person. The wonderful team achieved our show target of 50 members.
We also gave away 1,250 trees during the show. Not all to the public but any trees that were left found a good home with a neighbouring stand whose father was a landowner.
All in all, a very successful and enjoyable show.
