Owlets at Duncliffe wood
On a rather damp Sunday morning a group of dedicated and trained volunteers went out to Duncliffe wood to check our nest boxes
They had an unexpectedly successful visit. Other local woodland trust woods checked earlier this month didn’t reveal any Tawny owls but Duncliffe did us proud and there were three boxes with chicks in.
One of our volunteers Laura Tuke took these brilliant photos of the Owlets and has kindly let us use her photos.
Thank you to our volunteers who carried out the survey for us and so pleased that you found some Owlets.
