Working Groups back in the woods!
With Lockdown 2.0 ending in December and Woodland Working Groups allow to return in a COVID – safe manner, it has been great to see our volunteer groups in action again across the South East!
One such team of volunteers are in Brede High Woods, East Sussex, and were busy removing tree guards last month. The group hope to recruit more members in the New Year when possible to allow them to take part in more projects around this large site but it was fantastic to catch up with the dedicated team who came along on a cold November day. As you can see, everyone was in good spirits!
Volunteer Manager, Dave Bonsall, was particularly pleased to see the work being carried out and fondly remembered the day the trees were planted about ten years ago by local school children.
We are grateful to all of our volunteers across the region for their support this year and hope you are enjoying continuing your journey with us.
