Meet our new Visitor Experience Officer at Tring Park!
Introducing our brand new staff member for the central region woodland operations team: Jess Vagg!
In her role as Visitor Experience Officer at Tring Park, Jess will be will be focussing on the ways visitors are welcomed to Tring. She’ll be organising events, maintaining Tring Parks ‘Visit England’ Accreditation and managing volunteers who carry out visitor-facing roles.
Jess comes from both a public engagement and conservation background, so she brings with her a wealth of experience in developing events, activities and interpretation in order to engage people with nature. She has worked with volunteers in a variety of her previous roles and has volunteered for a range of different charities over the past 8 years.
Jess says “I am really excited to be working at Tring Park with the Woodland Trust. One of my favourite aspects of my previous roles has been having the opportunity to work alongside volunteers from all walks of life, and I am really looking forward to working with the Trust’s volunteers to develop the visitor offer at the beautiful Tring Park site”.
For future events and activities taking place at Tring over the coming year take a look at the events section of the Woodland Trust website, we are always looking for volunteer help!
