Chance to see Chris Packham’s programme again – tonight, Monday 9th December!

Chris Packham’s programme, produced with the Woodland Trust, is on again tonight.

Chris Packham presents this special, one-off documentary about the crucial role trees have to play in combating climate change. And with the help of viewers, we’ll raise funds to get thousands more of them in the ground.  Joined by presenters John Humphreys, Clare Nasir, Martin Hughes Games and JB Gill, plus experts from Woodland Trust, Chris explores the science of trees, the impacts of deforestation both worldwide and here in the UK, and how trees can help lock up carbon, fight flooding, and make landscapes more resilient.  Dame Judi Dench, one of Britain’s most respected film, stage and television actresses, and one of the Woodland Trust’s ambassadors, is also getting behind this partnership.

Learn about how native trees are grown and sourced for our work, and discover how you can do your bit with tips on planting trees at home.

Missed the programme or want to watch again? Tune in to Channel 5 tonight (Monday 9 December) at 7pm.
