By Royal Appointment

The Woodland Trusts new property “The Young Peoples Forest – Mead” near to Derby, Derbyshire,  recently received a visit from none other than the Head Forester of the Duchy of Cornwall, Geraint Richards who came out to see the project for himself and give advice on the project. Geraint will report back to “The Boss” as he liked to refer to Prince Charles with details on our exciting new project and who knows maybe at some point in the not too distant future we may get a visit from the Boss himself!

On the day Woodland Trust staff were also accompanied by General Sir Nick Parker (Ret) , KCB, CBE Chairman of Step up to Serve (A national campaign that aims to make social action part of life for as many 10 to 20 year-olds as possible by the year 2020) and Fiona Ellison – Director of Partnerships and Operations at Step Up To Serve.
