Another successful guided walk at Nidd Gorge
Last week saw the second of this years volunteer led guided walks taking place at our Nidd Gorge site, near Knaresborough. The sun shone, the birds sang and all in all for those coming along it made for a pretty idyllic, as well as very enjoyable and informative, two hours spent in this beautiful woodland. Many thanks to Tom Richardson and Lucy Aingarth, our volunteer guided walk leaders for delivering another fabulous walk.
If you would like to come along and find out more about the Nidd Gorge site, you would be more than welcome to join us on our next walk, details of which can be found on our woodland trust events page.
Following on from the success of our North Yorkshire volunteer led guided walk leader programme, we will be looking to recruit and train volunteers for a new similar guided walk programme, delivering a series of annual walks at our Low Burnhall and Hedley Hall sites in the North East. If you may be interested in being involved, please get in touch to find out more, at firstname.lastname@example.org
