Helpers for the Royal Welsh Show 22-25 July 2019
Once again this July the Woodland Trust will set up our marquee at Royal Welsh Show!
The pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show, will be held on 22 – 25 July 2019 at the showground in Llanelwedd.
Along with an exciting four-days of livestock competitions, with entries traveling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.
Members of staff will be present on the stand everyday and we would love if some of our volunteers could come along and join us. We will be doing some activities on the stand and also giving away free trees. You might even get to dress up as Keith the leaf!
The show is always great fun – so don’t forget if you volunteer to help we will issue you with a free ticket so you can spend some time exploring the show.
We will be organising a rota for the stand so if you are free on any of the days to help out please let me know (we can make sure you get plenty of breaks to have a look around the rest of the show).
