#ShowTheLove for trees and woods this Valentine’s day
Why not join us and shift the focus this Valentine’s and #ShowTheLove for the trees and woods that are threatened by climate change. Trees and woods are facing changing seasons, new pests and diseases and more extreme weather because of climate change – but they’re also a key part of the solution. Trees store carbon, keeping it out of the atmosphere. They help reduce flooding and keep our urban spaces cool in hot weather. They’re an essential part of a strong and resilient landscape.
We’re working with our friends at The Climate Coalition with the help of the wonderful Super Campaigner volunteers to #ShowTheLove by making personal pledges as well as making and wearing green hearts. We’ve got loads of ideas for you and your families – from making a heart shaped bird feeder to planting trees or responding to the DEFRA consultation on street trees. All of these small steps make a BIG difference and add to the call for a brighter future. You can find out more about our work with The Climate Coalition here.

What will your pledge be?
Green heart biscuits for WT staff in Grantham!
Proud of your pledge? Ask your MP to do the same!
Climate change can be a pretty scary problem – but if we stand together and #ShowTheLove, then we’ll make the difference.
