Hedgelaying at Spud Wood
Volunteers joined tutor Damon Peacock this weekend for an introduction to the techniques and skills of hedgelaying.
Despite the occasional hail showers, volunteers from Friends of Spud Wood spent a fantastic couple of days at the Spud Wood site, getting to grips with the tools and processes involved in mastering this traditional skill. Working on quite a challeging hedge for beginners, volunteers achieved great results and a newly laid hedge to be proud of!
Thanks to everyone who came along and thanks to to damon for passing on his skills and knowledge and hope you enjoyed the day!
