Central England Volunteer events and training sessions – You’re invited!
2019’s set to be a busy and exciting year for volunteers at the Woodland Trust, and you’re invited!
We’ve organised four volunteer network events across the Trust’s central England region and they’re set to be jam-packed with inspiring and informative talks and activities related to your role with us as a volunteer.
So get the dates in your diary and come and meet some of the Woodland Trust staff who work in your area. We’d love to see you and will be ready to answer any questions you might have, whether it’s about your volunteering role, our sites, the Woodland Trust or anything else! These events will give you the chance to catch up on the latest Woodland Trust news and updates from your local area, as well as from across the whole of the UK. We’ll be telling you about some of the fantastic projects we’re working on, and it’s a great opportunity to meet with other volunteers too.
Our first event is already on the horizon, taking place on the 2nd March down in Essex, and the highlight of the day will be an opportunity to explore the awesome ancient woodland that is Hainault Forest. We’ve got some exciting work up our sleeves for this site that we’ll be sharing with you, along with the latest from our citizen science team and much more. We hope you can make it!
