New group launches at Radley Plantation

A big thanks to Jon Parr, the volunteer group leader for organising a practical task day with one of our newest groups at Radley Plantation near Warrington on 19th January. Ten new volunteers to the Woodland Trust came and helped with coppicing hazel, litter picking and creating habitat piles from the brash for wildlife to use.  A big welcome and many thanks to everyone who came along and helped and made it such an enjoyable day!

This was a great day, everyone had a good time whilst working up a bit of a sweat. We are looking at running some more events in the near future with Balsam Bashing being the first one on May 25th 2019 – if you’re interested in coming along, please get ion touch.

    Regards
    Jon
