Volunteer filming… it’s a wrap!

Thank you to everyone who has either hosted us or been filmed as part of our recent volunteering project.

We’ve toured the country with volunteers Chloe, Sophie and Steve meeting some of you and putting together a series of 2 minute case studies.

On our travels we’ve helped with litter picking at How Tun Woods, hung around with beautiful dogs at Uffmoor, removed trees blocking the path at Spud Wood, swept leaves at Skipton and even got ourselves caught up in a parade down near Fingle. We’ve flown a drone over the fire damage at Smithills, paid 12p to cross a bridge in Cheshire and had a flat tyre miles from anywhere (That wasn’t a particular personal highlight if I’m honest!)

The footage is all being edited as we speak and we’ll soon have a series of 23 videos so watch this space for these soon!

Once again a big thank you if you’ve been involved. I know it’s put some of you way out of your comfort zone, we’ve really appreciated your support, you’ve all been amazing on camera! Here’s some photo’s I took on my travels…

The presentations at the award ceremony were tremendous, and showed what an amazing diverse range of activities volunteers carry out.
As a Speaker for the trust, a short compilation of theses videos to show the variety of activities would be useful for presentations, possibly encouraging people to become volunteers.
