Record breaking open garden in Co. Down

On Saturday 8th September our Engagement Officer Michelle McCaughtry alongside NI Director Patrick Cregg and a small group of valiant volunteers hosted an open garden at Rosemount House estate in Greyabbey, Co. Down with spectacular results.

Our expectations were more than exceeded. We had hoped to welcome around 200 visitors across the afternoon but were delighted to welcome 800+ visitors cross the gates into the enchanting gardens at Rosemount House estate.

It was a very busy event which raised in excess of £4,000 for the Woodland Trust!

A huge thanks to all of our volunteers who helped – they all worked so hard (as alway!) to manage the extra guests and make sure everyone enjoyed their afternoon, we are really grateful for your support!!

We will keep you all posted of our next open garden event which will be happening in 2019 if you would like to get involved!
