Meet Stephen Duggan – NI Contracts Manager
My name is Stephen Duggan and this summer I took up post as Contracts Manager for the Woodland Trust in Northern Ireland. I will be covering the role whilst Rosie is off on maternity leave.
I’ve always had an interest in trees, nature and everything outdoors. I completed my degree in BSc Environmental Biology at Queen’s University Belfast in 2014 before taking the opportunity to do some traveling.
I then worked in various different jobs before joining the Woodland Trust as Membership Development Officer in July 2017. After a year of attending numerous events across the UK promoting the work of the Trust and signing up lots of new members, the opportunity of Contracts Manager for the Northern Ireland region presented itself. I now manage and care for 50 of our woodlands across the country, making sure the sites are rich in biodiversity, wildlife and fit for public use. Outside of work I am a keen sportsperson. I play football and golf and am a regular runner. I also like to relax and socialise with friends over a drink or two.
I’ll look forward to getting to meet you all soon, in the meantime If you would like to get in touch you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07388994659.
