Book now – volunteer network event at the Box Moor Trust, Hemel Hempstead

You are cordially invited to a volunteer network event, taking place on Saturday 15th September 2018 at The Box Moor Trust, Hemel Hempstead. This event is to celebrate volunteering across the central region and to thank you for volunteering with us, it is much appreciated! Furthermore, it is a great opportunity for you to meet other volunteers; all involved in a range of different Woodland Trust roles.

During the day we’ll provide you with some key volunteering updates, and we would love to tell you about some of the exciting work that has been going on both regionally and nationally. We have allowed for time to network and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about volunteering or our work at the Woodland Trust.

In the afternoon we have organised a guided walk around the beautiful Box Moor estate. This will be led by Peter Samson, Estate Manager from the Box Moor Trust. Peter will be able to tell you all about the grounds from an ecological and historical perspective, with a focus on the woodland and the work that is carried out by the Box Moor Trust. They run an interesting conservation grazing programme and a number of wildlife and restoration projects.

Booking is essential so that we can plan our resources, so if you would like more information and an agenda, or to come along, contact Amanda Brookes (07917895071 amandabrookes@woodlandtrust.org.uk). Please confirm your place with us and let us know if you have any dietary requirements by 15th August.

We really hope that you can join us and look forward to hearing from you.
