A Poem on Frodsham Hill Wood
Frodsham Hill Wood
Once heathland crossed by sinuous path veins
Now woodland in shades of verdant green.
Fresh and inviting in Spring
Dark and sheltered in Summer
With glimpses of whirling windmills,
The slow ebb and flow of estuary water
And the static landmarks of Liverpool.
A cool place to walk and pass the time of day.
