Midlands volunteer network event at Lower Smite Farm, Worcestershire – Book now!
Woodland Trust volunteers are cordially invited to attend a volunteer network event on Friday 20th July, at Lower Smite Farm, from 10am-4pm.
This event is to celebrate volunteering across the central region, and to thank you for volunteering with us, it is much appreciated! Furthermore, it is a great opportunity for you to meet other volunteers; all involved in a range of different Woodland Trust roles.
We have come up with a packed day, which we hope will be both interesting and informative. We’ll provide you with some key volunteering updates, and we would love to tell you about some of the exciting work that has been going on both regionally and nationally. We have allowed for time to network and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about volunteering or our work at the Woodland Trust.
In the afternoon we have organised a guided walk around the beautiful Lower Smite Farm nature reserve. This will be led by staff member from the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. They will be able to tell you all about the grounds and the work that is carried out by the Wildlife Trust Reserves Team.
