Hatherstone Woods in the Snow

A huge thank you to Jim leFeuvre  one of our volunteers at Hatherstone Woods who sent us in these beautiful photos of Hatherstone Woods in the Snow.  We are not used to the Snow settling so much in the South West, and our woods sure look stunning in the Snow

Hatherstone Wood is one of The Woodland Trust’s ‘Woods on Your Doorstep’ woodlands, created to commemorate the Millennium. It lies on a gentle slope midway between the villages of West Coker, East Coker and Hardington Mandeville. As well as a mix of broadleaf trees, Heatherstone features a small clump of Scots pine trees, a pond and mixed hedgerows.
