NI volunteers celebrate success

A group of festive volunteers congregated in the Bangor office on 12th December to celebrate their wonderful efforts throughout 2017.  They mingled, discussed their different woods and spread Christmas cheer.

The morning took the form of a short presentation from staff on what the Trust had achieved with the help of volunteers in NI throughout the year.  A Christmas raffle followed while patrons enjoyed a feast of sandwiches, nibbles and mulled wine.

Guests were also treated to an impromptu performance by Peter Lyons who played his uillean pipes expertly.

Everyone had a wonderful morning and the staff would once again like to express their gratitude for the immense effort our volunteers in NI put in to helping us.
